learning saying "THANK YOU" & "SORRY"

THANK YOU for...

1. being with me
2. for the love you gave me
3. for coming to a boring company party with me
4. for telling me your innermost secrets
5. for secrets you kept from me
6. for warming the bed on cold winter's night
7. for coming to my parents without complaining.
8. for the flowers you brought me
9. for making up after we quarreled
10. for quitting smoking for me
11. for all the smiles that light up my life
12. for forgiving me... even though I was wrong!
13. for accepting me, together with my past.
14. for our life together... and apart!
15. for being there when I failed
16. for teaching me patience and tolerance
17. for the love that makes other people envy us
18. for looking after me when I had the flu
19. for making me laugh in the middle of our quarrel
20. for teaching me that everything's permissible in love!
21. for not comparing me to other people.
22. for sharing everything with me... including your recent flu!
23. for hugging me in my time of sorrow
24. for buying me a goldfish as a surprise... my cat also thanks you!
25. for treating me like a winner, even when I came last.
26. for not saying, "I told you so!" every time I make a mistake
27. for teaching me that 69 is not just a number
28. for letting me win our last pillow fight.
29. for loving my parents
30. for simply being in my life.
31. for letting me see the love in your eyes
32. for being yourself all the time
33. for wanting to be mine

I'm SORRY...

1. for I yawned at your company party
2. for keeping secrets from you
3. for turning my back on you when you were longing for a hug
4. about the times I smiled at others, in front of you!
5. I'm sorry I broght my past with me
6. I didn't go with you to your favorite places.
7. I saw our failure as only your failure
8. I don't show my love in public
9. for not being there for you
10. I laughed at you when you wanted to learn Yoga
11. I fell asleep during the midnight movie you love
12. I used up all the hot water on a cold winter's day
13. I went out without kissing you
14. I didn't come to see you off at the station
15. I've forgotten the good times that you still remember
16. for the things that can't be said out loud.

SOMETIMES, TO FIND LOVE, WE MUST CLOSE ONE EYE...
